Heavy tanks = OKW gets so few tanks that those are often alone with infantry supporting them, one tank at the time. MID game there completely useless due to buildings being demolished or can be destroyed easily, hidden and only target vehicle is completely useless due to mortars and long range allied artillery. Raketenwerfers = short range, these are good for only forcing enemy tanks to fall back for repair, but almost never gets them killed unless enemy is acting stupid. 2 sturmpioneers with shrecks cannot beat 2 allies riflemen squads with no special weapons. but 3 squads of pioneers is so costly to maintain that you would almost get no other infantry units, you would also be forced to use your 3 pioneers as a blob in order to be able to fight against enemy infantry squads at all. ( 1 shreck is nothing, you would need like 3 pioneers, which would be decent against infantry and decent against tanks. Pioneers with shrecks = crap squad vs inf ( because they get -25% infantry damage) + crap squad vs tanks. Often you just suicide half of your volksgrenadier squad trying to get to the panzerfaust's range. Its only good for stopping early game light vehicles. Panzerfausts = enemy just ignores them completely because they are useless when it comes to stopping enemy armored assault and you cant shoot another one soon after first one.
